Couple Cross Country Skiing
Family Nordic Ski is intended for families with kids who are in the 3rd to 6th grade range. If you have kids within this range and outside of it, that can be accommodated. Both programs will be held at Twin Brook Park in Cumberland (weather permitting) from 1/9/21 to 3/20/21 with no classes on the weekends preceding and following February break. The program will be meeting at the Tuttle Road side of the park. We will attempt to make up any cancelled session in later March if there is snow. Equipment should be procured prior to these sessions for all participants, please ensure you have the correct equipment for the style of skiing you choose. Each program is open to 30 people.
 

Classic Skiing Program:
The classic program will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am each Saturday, this program is intended for families from 2 to 6 people. No skiing experience is required but some is preferred. We will focus on all aspects of Classical style skiing. We will begin with the basics and progress ourselves to basic racing techniques.
 

Skate Skiing Program:
The skate program will be held from 12:00pm-2:00pm each Saturday, this program is intended for families from 2-6 people and is for more advanced skiers. To participate in this program you do not need any skate experience but some cross country skiing experience is required. We will focus on all aspects of skate style skiing. We will begin with the basics and progress ourselves to basic racing techniques.

Grades: 3-6 & Adult!
Location: Twin Brook Recreation Area in Cumberland - please use the Tuttle Road entrance
Fee: $85 per person
