Awakening imagination and creativity in a calm, centered, co-creative atmosphere. Kids will use a wide array of materials to make projects of their choosing.
New materials and techniques will be introduced to the studio each week. The kids will work independently, while the instructor visits anyone who has a question or needs some assistance. Collaborations and group works are encouraged here.
A soundtrack of meditative, instrumental music will be played in the studio space to set the tone and atmosphere.
Kids can bring projects in from home, continue work from previous sessions or start fresh each meetup. This is a largely student-led program; a respectful and grounding container for the group’s creativity to grow and develop.
Materials used: things found in nature, clay, wire, oil pastels, tempera paints, watercolor, fiber, and found objects.
