Fostering a love of the natural world through play in the outdoors. This is an afterschool nature immersion play program for children grades 2-5.
 
After a long day of school, we prioritize play and time spent outdoors to encourage connection and unplugged fun. We understand that kids thrive when given the opportunity to engage in freely chosen, intrinsically motivated play. We will meet outside YES to explore together and connect with the natural world.
 
Our curriculum will include forts & fairy houses, natural art making, imagination play, plant and animal identification, and a contemplative closing circle with herbal tea to share.

We plan to be outdoors rain or shine, so appropriate gear will be needed on certain days. Emails will be sent out the day before to inform guardians!

All participants will receive a nature journal.
