Join us for a guided walk through the woods to discover Maine’s fleeting spring wildflowers—known as ephemerals—at their peak!

As the forest awakens, these delicate blooms appear briefly before the trees leaf out. Learn how to identify spring ephemerals, hear about their unique life cycles, and enjoy a leisurely walk through this beautiful woodland setting.
What to expect: Beth Sturtevant, Certified Maine Guide will lead this walk
- Easy, slow-paced walk, over uneven terrain with small elevation changes.
- Wildflower identification and natural history
- Time to observe, photograph, and appreciate spring in the forest
All are welcome. Wear sturdy shoes (waterproof footwear recommended), hiking poles if desired and dress for the weather.
