Power Tools for Everyday Life: A Hands-On Class for Women Register View Cart

This hands-on course empowers women with the confidence and practical skills to safely use basic power tools for everyday household projects. Designed specifically for beginners, the class removes intimidation and replaces it with real-world knowledge through guided, hands-on practice.

Participants will learn how to select, operate, and confidently use essential tools while completing practical tasks such as hanging shelves and mounting hardware. The focus is on safety, confidence, and practical application rather than technical jargon or trade-level instruction.

Participants will receive guided instruction in the safe and proper use of:
• Cordless drill/driver
• Drill bits and driver bits
• Jigsaw
• Level
• Optional introduction to a miter saw (time and space permitting)

Each session includes tool demonstrations, safety overview, guided hands-on practice, individual instruction, troubleshooting, and a small take-home project.

No experience required.
Fee includes instruction and all materials.
