Pilates is a low impact, moderate intensity workout that helps strengthen the whole body with an emphasis on our powerhouse - the core. Work to improve posture and flexibility while building muscular endurance and improving mind body connection through controlled, precise movements and breath work. This class will use the classical moves developed by Joseph Pilates as a foundation while incorporating contemporary variations for a fun and effective workout.
Minimum requirements: Participants must be able to get up and down from the floor without assistance. Participants do not experience vertigo while in a horizontal position. All fitness levels are welcome!
