Korean Sword
Kuhapdo is a Korean sword art with its roots in Iaido, the Japanese martial art of the Samurai. Kuhapdo classes incorporate physical exercises and philosophical principles in the learning of hyung (prescribed movements). Students work with wooden swords on exercises that build strength, body awareness, coordination, and mental focus.
Classes are taught by Sheryl Glidden, Kuhapdo Master and direct student of Grand Master Lim, Hyun Soo, 9th degree black belt and top swordsman from Daegu City, South Korea.
Equipment for this class will be supplied by the teacher.
