Dandelion Dreams
Remember when you were a child and you would blow on a Dandelion and make a wish? Well, it is my wish, my big dream, to help restore healthy relationships with the Natural world including this common, useful and incredibly generous plant!
Join Lisa Estabrook at the Soulflower Sanctuary for a morning of peace and connection with the natural world. Together we will spend time getting to know this nutritional powerhouse of a plant, explore her medicine and magic and enjoy a cup of delicious Dandelion root tea. This is a hands-on, heart-led experience and you will leave with the skills and confidence to begin harvesting and incorporating Dandelion into your kitchen and home apothecary.
In addition to the class time, the Sanctuary gardens will remain open until noon for participants to spend some quiet time resting or exploring on their own.
Please note that while all adults are welcome, this event takes place in a private garden and is best suited for those who can comfortably navigate uneven surfaces. Please bring a water bottle and dress appropriately for the outdoors. Refreshments and supplies are included in cost.
Lisa Estabrook (MySoulflower.love) is an artist, author and plant whisperer who has spent over 30 years working with, loving and building relationships with plants. Her work includes the Soulflower Plant Spirit Oracle Deck, The Daily Practice Journal and The Plant Spirit Field Guide along with a range of Soulflower Essences in collaboration with Avena Botanicals in Rockport, Maine. Lisa stewards the Soulflower Sanctuary Garden & Retreat Center in Yarmouth, Maine.
