Lacrosse - Youth Travel

YCS participates in the Massachusetts Youth Lacrosse (MYL) - Maine Region with roughly 15 other neighboring Maine towns.  

Emphasis is on skill development and an introduction to game concepts in this travel youth lacrosse program. All players are welcome and will be placed on gender and age appropriate teams. YCS prioritizes a fun and inclusive youth sports environment. 

Practice Schedule: Practices are two times a week. Teams and practice timing are set after registration closes and depend upon enrollment and volunteer coach availability.

Game Schedule: Games begin Sunday May 2nd and run for 6 Sundays, concluding on June 13th (no games Memorial Day weekend, May 30th). There will be an optional Jamboree on Saturday May 22nd.

Players need to provide their own equipment. See webpage above for recommendations.

Boys: Shoulder pads, arm pads, helmet, gloves, mouth guard and stick.  Boys helmets and shoulder pads must meet NOCSAE standards.

Girls: Mouth guard, stick, SEI certified goggles.
 
Grades: 3 - 6
Fee: $185 
*Save $10 if you already have a reversible pinnie, must call YCS to register in order to receive discount*

*Registration deadline is February 1st*

Volunteer coaches needed! Volunteer coaches are the heart of our programs, bringing time, energy, and passion on and off the field.
