For returning families - please note that the structure of our baseball offerings has changed for the 2027 season to combine the older age range (5-7) into Instructional League. This is an effort to have more teams in the league for an exciting season. Players of all experience levels are welcome. Our youngest offering (age 4) is renamed Tee Ball rather than Tee Wee.

Tee Ball Baseball is a coed program for 4 year olds which involves hitting a soft ball from a tee with a foam bat. Players are informally taught the basics of baseball, with emphasis on generating enthusiasm about the game of baseball in a safe and fun environment. Parent participation is required.

- Dates: 5/5-6/4 (5 weeks, one practice per week on Wednesday or Friday)
- Time: 5:00-5:45pm
- Age: 4 (Must be 4 by start of program. No exceptions.)
- Location: Wednesday Teams @ Royal River Park, Friday Teams @ YHS Field Hockey Field, near YHS Tennis
- Fee: $50
- Gear: shirts, hats, balls and bats provided. Players please bring appropriate closed-toed footwear.
Instructional League
Registartion deadline is April 1st.
Children ages 5-7 play with a soft baseball pitched by coaches or hit off a tee in this coed instructional league. Players are placed on coed teams and have one weeknight practice and one Saturday game. Emphasis is placed on teaching skills and introducing the rules of baseball, where sportsmanship and fun are stressed, rather than winning. Players of all experience levels welcome.

- Dates: 4/26-6/5 (6 weeks, on practice and one game per week)
- Game Days: Saturdays - 3:00 or 4:00 pm (No game 5/29 - Memorial Day weekend)
- Practice Days: Dependent upon volunteer coach availability. Teams will be created after registration closes.
- Ages: 5 - 7
- Location: YHS Field Hockey Field & North Road Fields
- Fee: $80
- Gear: Helmets, bats, balls, and team shirts provided. Players please bring a glove and sneakers or cleats.
