2026 Garden Plot
Yarmouth Community GardenCome Grow with us! Garden Plot Renters get a 10 X 10 ft sunny organic garden plot for:$40/plot for residents and $43/plot for non-residents.Plots include fencing, tools, water, compost, and gardening advice.Registration will open on January 1, 2026: register online, call 846-2406, or come to YCS. We require that renters volunteer 6 hours per plot in our Community Garden where we grow vegetables for donation to the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry and Yarmouth Senior communities.
Our gardens are gorgeous -- come tour or rest in the shade. Volunteers are welcome and staff will provide guidance. We harvest every Tuesday and Saturday morning in the growing season. Look for us on East Main St. between Estabrook's Nursery and the Yarmouth Transfer Station at the Frank Knight Forest. We are a community of gardeners.Questions about the waitlist? FOR RESIDENTS ONLY. Ski with us or ski on your own...rental equipment is a great value and you won’t have to keep up with your growing student’s sizes each year! Equipment is used throughout the season from approximately December through the middle-to-the-end of March. Please stop by the YCS office to ensure we have the proper sizes for your children. We have a limited amount of equipment, and it tends to go fast!Grades: 1-8Fee: $80 for the season includes boots, poles, skis and equipment bag. Kids will learn traditional handcraft techniques, practice fine motor skills and problem-solving capabilities all the while building confidence and patience! Each 4 week session will focus on a different classical fiber arts craft: embroidery, weaving, felting and quilting. Brick By Brick Maine :Lego Winter Fun!
Join us for one of these fun Lego Classes!Building and playing with Lego bricks help children develop cognitive skills and learn concepts like size and shape, quantity, order and pattern. Structural building with Legos stimulates critical thinking and encourages creative problem solving. After reading a short story related to the build of the week, students will complete a step by step build of that object followed by free building time with a huge assortment of Lego bricks! Nordic Ski Instruction
Learn how to Nordic ski this winter - both classic and freestyle techniques for recreation skiing and future ski teams. Each participant will need at least one pair of Nordic skis, poles and ski boots. Please note, unpredictable snow conditions mean we skate much more than we do classic. Waxable combi-style skis can be used for both skate and classic techniques - they're great for kids. Waxless skis, fish-scale skis are not suitable for skate skiing. Volunteers needed. Korean Sword (Chung Suk Kuhapdo)
Kuhapdo is a Korean sword art with its roots in Iaido, the Japanese martial art of the Samurai. Kuhapdo classes incorporate physical exercise and philosophical principles in the learning of hyung (prescribed movements). Students work with wooden swords on exercise that build strength, body awareness, coordination, and mental focus. Equipment for this class will be supplied by the teacher. Open Studio: Calm Creativity - Session 3
Awakening imagination and creativity in a calm, centered, co-creative atmosphere. Kids will use a wide array of materials to make projects of their choosing.New materials and techniques will be introduced to the studio each week. The kids will work independently, while the instructor visits anyone who has a question or needs some assistance. Collaborations and group works are encouraged here.A soundtrack of meditative, instrumental music will be played in the studio space to set the tone and atmosphere.Kids can bring projects in from home, continue work from previous sessions or start fresh each meetup. Nordic Ski Instruction
Learn how to Nordic ski this winter - both classic and freestyle techniques for recreation skiing and future ski teams. Each participant will need at least one pair of Nordic skis, poles and ski boots. Please note, unpredictable snow conditions mean we skate much more than we do classic. Waxable combi-style skis can be used for both skate and classic techniques - they're great for kids. Waxless skis, fish-scale skis are not suitable for skate skiing. Volunteers needed. Yarmouth Community GardenCome Grow with us! Garden Plot Renters get a 10 X 10 ft sunny organic garden plot for:$40/plot for residents and $43/plot for non-residents.Plots include fencing, tools, water, compost, and gardening advice.Registration will open on January 1, 2026: register online, call 846-2406, or come to YCS. We require that renters volunteer 6 hours per plot in our Community Garden where we grow vegetables for donation to the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry and Yarmouth Senior communities.
Our gardens are gorgeous -- come tour or rest in the shade. Volunteers are welcome and staff will provide guidance. We harvest every Tuesday and Saturday morning in the growing season. Look for us on East Main St. between Estabrook's Nursery and the Yarmouth Transfer Station at the Frank Knight Forest. We are a community of gardeners.Questions about the waitlist? Hip Hop Session 3
This class is for the active and enthusiastic dancer. Each 50 minute class will include warm up, conditioning, stretching, individual, group, and partner dancing. This class will teach students beginning hip hop moves, dance class etiquette, how to improvise while dancing, and how to work with a group all while using fun, age-appropriate music! This co-ed class welcomes all beginning dancers. Be ready to have fun and work hard in this fast-paced class!Please note that this class is for students only. Yarmouth Community GardenCome Grow with us! Garden Plot Renters get a 10 X 10 ft sunny organic garden plot for:$40/plot for residents and $43/plot for non-residents.Plots include fencing, tools, water, compost, and gardening advice.Registration will open on January 1, 2026: register online, call 846-2406, or come to YCS. We require that renters volunteer 6 hours per plot in our Community Garden where we grow vegetables for donation to the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry and Yarmouth Senior communities.
Our gardens are gorgeous -- come tour or rest in the shade. Volunteers are welcome and staff will provide guidance. We harvest every Tuesday and Saturday morning in the growing season. Look for us on East Main St. between Estabrook's Nursery and the Yarmouth Transfer Station at the Frank Knight Forest. We are a community of gardeners.Questions about the waitlist? Open Studio: Calm Creativity - Session 3
Awakening imagination and creativity in a calm, centered, co-creative atmosphere. Kids will use a wide array of materials to make projects of their choosing.New materials and techniques will be introduced to the studio each week. The kids will work independently, while the instructor visits anyone who has a question or needs some assistance. Collaborations and group works are encouraged here.A soundtrack of meditative, instrumental music will be played in the studio space to set the tone and atmosphere.Kids can bring projects in from home, continue work from previous sessions or start fresh each meetup. Learn how to Nordic ski this winter - both classic and freestyle techniques for recreation skiing and future ski teams. Yarmouth Community GardenCome Grow with us! Garden Plot Renters get a 10 X 10 ft sunny organic garden plot for:$40/plot for residents and $43/plot for non-residents.Plots include fencing, tools, water, compost, and gardening advice.Registration will open on January 1, 2026: register online, call 846-2406, or come to YCS. We require that renters volunteer 6 hours per plot in our Community Garden where we grow vegetables for donation to the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry and Yarmouth Senior communities.
Our gardens are gorgeous -- come tour or rest in the shade. Volunteers are welcome and staff will provide guidance. We harvest every Tuesday and Saturday morning in the growing season. Look for us on East Main St. between Estabrook's Nursery and the Yarmouth Transfer Station at the Frank Knight Forest. We are a community of gardeners.Questions about the waitlist? This class is for the active and enthusiastic dancer. Each 50 minute class will include warm up, conditioning, stretching, individual, group, and partner dancing. Korean Sword (Chung Suk Kuhapdo)
Kuhapdo is a Korean sword art with its roots in Iaido, the Japanese martial art of the Samurai. Kuhapdo classes incorporate physical exercise and philosophical principles in the learning of hyung (prescribed movements). Students work with wooden swords on exercise that build strength, body awareness, coordination, and mental focus. Equipment for this class will be supplied by the teacher. Open Studio: Calm Creativity - Session 3
Awakening imagination and creativity in a calm, centered, co-creative atmosphere. Kids will use a wide array of materials to make projects of their choosing.New materials and techniques will be introduced to the studio each week. Our gardens are gorgeous -- come tour or rest in the shade. Volunteers are welcome and staff will provide guidance. We harvest every Tuesday and Saturday morning in the growing season. This class is for the active and enthusiastic dancer. Each 50 minute class will include warm up, conditioning, stretching, individual, group, and partner dancing. Garden Plot Renters get a 10 X 10 ft sunny organic garden plot for:$40/plot for residents and $43/plot for non-residents.Plots include fencing, tools, water, compost, and gardening advice.Registration will open on January 1, 2026: register online, call 846-2406, or come to YCS. We require that renters volunteer 6 hours per plot in our Community Garden where we grow vegetables for donation to the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry and Yarmouth Senior communities.
Our gardens are gorgeous -- come tour or rest in the shade. Volunteers are welcome and staff will provide guidance. We harvest every Tuesday and Saturday morning in the growing season. Look for us on East Main St. between Estabrook's Nursery and the Yarmouth Transfer Station at the Frank Knight Forest. We are a community of gardeners.Questions about the waitlist? Korean Sword (Chung Suk Kuhapdo)
Kuhapdo is a Korean sword art with its roots in Iaido, the Japanese martial art of the Samurai. Kuhapdo classes incorporate physical exercise and philosophical principles in the learning of hyung (prescribed movements). Students work with wooden swords on exercise that build strength, body awareness, coordination, and mental focus. Equipment for this class will be supplied by the teacher. Open Studio: Calm Creativity - Session 3
Awakening imagination and creativity in a calm, centered, co-creative atmosphere. Kids will use a wide array of materials to make projects of their choosing.New materials and techniques will be introduced to the studio each week. The kids will work independently, while the instructor visits anyone who has a question or needs some assistance. Collaborations and group works are encouraged here.A soundtrack of meditative, instrumental music will be played in the studio space to set the tone and atmosphere.Kids can bring projects in from home, continue work from previous sessions or start fresh each meetup. Yarmouth Community GardenCome Grow with us! Garden Plot Renters get a 10 X 10 ft sunny organic garden plot for:$40/plot for residents and $43/plot for non-residents.Plots include fencing, tools, water, compost, and gardening advice.Registration will open on January 1, 2026: register online, call 846-2406, or come to YCS. We require that renters volunteer 6 hours per plot in our Community Garden where we grow vegetables for donation to the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry and Yarmouth Senior communities.
Our gardens are gorgeous -- come tour or rest in the shade. Volunteers are welcome and staff will provide guidance. We harvest every Tuesday and Saturday morning in the growing season. Look for us on East Main St. between Estabrook's Nursery and the Yarmouth Transfer Station at the Frank Knight Forest. We are a community of gardeners.Questions about the waitlist? 2026 Garden Plot
Yarmouth Community GardenCome Grow with us! Garden Plot Renters get a 10 X 10 ft sunny organic garden plot for:$40/plot for residents and $43/plot for non-residents.Plots include fencing, tools, water, compost, and gardening advice.Registration will open on January 1, 2026: register online, call 846-2406, or come to YCS. We require that renters volunteer 6 hours per plot in our Community Garden where we grow vegetables for donation to the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry and Yarmouth Senior communities.
Our gardens are gorgeous -- come tour or rest in the shade. Volunteers are welcome and staff will provide guidance. We harvest every Tuesday and Saturday morning in the growing season. Look for us on East Main St. between Estabrook's Nursery and the Yarmouth Transfer Station at the Frank Knight Forest. We are a community of gardeners.Questions about the waitlist? FOR RESIDENTS ONLY. Ski with us or ski on your own...rental equipment is a great value and you won’t have to keep up with your growing student’s sizes each year! Equipment is used throughout the season from approximately December through the middle-to-the-end of March. Please stop by the YCS office to ensure we have the proper sizes for your children. We have a limited amount of equipment, and it tends to go fast!Grades: 1-8Fee: $80 for the season includes boots, poles, skis and equipment bag. Hip Hop Session 3
This class is for the active and enthusiastic dancer. Each 50 minute class will include warm up, conditioning, stretching, individual, group, and partner dancing. This class will teach students beginning hip hop moves, dance class etiquette, how to improvise while dancing, and how to work with a group all while using fun, age-appropriate music! This co-ed class welcomes all beginning dancers. Be ready to have fun and work hard in this fast-paced class!Please note that this class is for students only. All visitors (family included) will be asked to wait in the lobby.Please send your dancer in comfortable clothes they can move in and sneakers. No jeans please. Water bottles are strongly encouraged. Join us for one of these fun Lego Classes!Building and playing with Lego bricks help children develop cognitive skills and learn concepts like size and shape, quantity, order and pattern. Structural building with Legos stimulates critical thinking and encourages creative problem solving. Learn how to Nordic ski this winter - both classic and freestyle techniques for recreation skiing and future ski teams. Each participant will need at least one pair of Nordic skis, poles and ski boots. Please note, unpredictable snow conditions mean we skate much more than we do classic. Awakening imagination and creativity in a calm, centered, co-creative atmosphere. Kids will use a wide array of materials to make projects of their choosing.New materials and techniques will be introduced to the studio each week. The kids will work independently, while the instructor visits anyone who has a question or needs some assistance. Collaborations and group works are encouraged here.A soundtrack of meditative, instrumental music will be played in the studio space to set the tone and atmosphere.Kids can bring projects in from home, continue work from previous sessions or start fresh each meetup. Arts & Crafts After-School Club - Wednesdays Session 3
A fun and interactive way for children to practice fine motor skills and problem-solving capabilities while building confidence and creativity. We will be exploring different craft styles and learning about color, value, design, and composition through age-appropriate activities. Every session is unique, featuring different materials and focused projects that explore various types of media, with a strong focus on craftwork, fiber arts, printmaking & ceramics. Students will engage in projects such as weaving, beading, embroidery, and other textile arts while learning about shape, line, color, and texture. Nordic Ski Instruction
Learn how to Nordic ski this winter - both classic and freestyle techniques for recreation skiing and future ski teams. Each participant will need at least one pair of Nordic skis, poles and ski boots. Please note, unpredictable snow conditions mean we skate much more than we do classic. Waxable combi-style skis can be used for both skate and classic techniques - they're great for kids. Waxless skis, fish-scale skis are not suitable for skate skiing. Volunteers needed. 2026 Garden Plot
Yarmouth Community GardenCome Grow with us! Garden Plot Renters get a 10 X 10 ft sunny organic garden plot for:$40/plot for residents and $43/plot for non-residents.Plots include fencing, tools, water, compost, and gardening advice.Registration will open on January 1, 2026: register online, call 846-2406, or come to YCS. We require that renters volunteer 6 hours per plot in our Community Garden where we grow vegetables for donation to the Yarmouth Community Food Pantry and Yarmouth Senior communities.
Our gardens are gorgeous -- come tour or rest in the shade. Volunteers are welcome and staff will provide guidance. We harvest every Tuesday and Saturday morning in the growing season. Look for us on East Main St. between Estabrook's Nursery and the Yarmouth Transfer Station at the Frank Knight Forest. We are a community of gardeners.Questions about the waitlist? Nordic Ski Rentals
FOR RESIDENTS ONLY. Ski with us or ski on your own...rental equipment is a great value and you won’t have to keep up with your growing student’s sizes each year! Equipment is used throughout the season from approximately December through the middle-to-the-end of March. Please stop by the YCS office to ensure we have the proper sizes for your children. We have a limited amount of equipment, and it tends to go fast!Grades: 1-8Fee: $80 for the season includes boots, poles, skis and equipment bag. Pay fee upon receipt of equipment.Come in to get sized! Limited equipment per size.YCS office hours: Monday -Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm
