Hip Hop Session 2
This class is for the active and enthusiastic dancer. Each 45 minute class will include warm up, conditioning, stretching, individual, group, and partner dancing. This class will teach students beginning hip hop moves, dance class etiquette, how to improvise while dancing, and how to work with a group all while using fun, age-appropriate music! This co-ed class welcomes all beginning dancers. Be ready to have fun and work hard in this fast-paced class! Pickeleball Session 1
Adult Pickleball Winter Yarmouth Pickleball is played inside on Saturdays and Sundays at the Yarmouth Elementary School gymnasium where there are two courts. Due to the popularity of this sport participants must register with YCS in order to participate in indoor pickleball. The Indoor season is divided into 2 sessions: Session 1: November 2 - February 1 Saturdays: 1 – 5 pm November 2nd – November 30th Saturdays: 3 – 7 pm December 7th – February 1st Sundays: 1 – 5 pm *First 2 hours designated as “intermediate to advanced” / second 2 hours designated as “beginner to intermediate” Session 2: February 2 - May 4 Saturdays: 3 – 7 pm February 8th – February 15th Saturdays: 1 – 5 pm February 22nd – May 3rd Sundays: 1 – 5 pm *First 2 hours designated as “intermediate to advanced” / second 2 hours designated as “beginner to intermediate” We are scheduling the times in 2 hour blocks and limiting the player count to 16 for each session open Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Join us for one of these fun Lego Classes!Building and playing with Lego bricks help children develop cognitive skills and learn concepts like size and shape, quantity, order and pattern. Structural building with Legos stimulates critical thinking and encourages creative problem solving. After reading a short story related to the build of the week, students will complete a step by step build of that object followed by free building time with a huge assortment of Lego bricks!

Korean Sword (Chung Suk Kuhapdo)
Kuhapdo is a Korean sword art with its roots in Iaido, the Japanese martial art of the Samurai. Kuhapdo classes incorporate physical exercise and philosophical principles in the learning of hyung (prescribed movements). Students work with wooden swords on exercise that build strength, body awareness, coordination, and mental focus. Equipment for this class will be supplied by the teacher. Awakening imagination and creativity in a calm, centered, co-creative atmosphere. Light Up Yarmouth, started in the darkness of a COVID winter 2020, was created to bring LIGHT to Yarmouth - what a better way to do it than through our residents, businesses, and organizations! YCS is looking for partners to decorate their homes, businesses, organizations, churches, banks, and other shops with some type of lights (colors of your choosing).For participants: Decorate your location with lights (and whatever else fancies you!) and participate as part of our "driveable event" in December.Bring LIGHT to Yarmouth by lighting your place from December 1 through December 31. Go as big or as small as you'd like - any type of lights or lighting will help Yarmouth shine.Register your address by November 22nd with YCS so we can add it to a "driveable" map by December 1.

Pickeleball Session 1
Adult Pickleball Winter Yarmouth Pickleball is played inside on Saturdays and Sundays at the Yarmouth Elementary School gymnasium where there are two courts. Due to the popularity of this sport participants must register with YCS in order to participate in indoor pickleball. The Indoor season is divided into 2 sessions: Session 1: November 2 - February 1 Saturdays: 1 – 5 pm November 2nd – November 30th Saturdays: 3 – 7 pm December 7th – February 1st Sundays: 1 – 5 pm *First 2 hours designated as “intermediate to advanced” / second 2 hours designated as “beginner to intermediate” Session 2: February 2 - May 4 Saturdays: 3 – 7 pm February 8th – February 15th Saturdays: 1 – 5 pm February 22nd – May 3rd Sundays: 1 – 5 pm *First 2 hours designated as “intermediate to advanced” / second 2 hours designated as “beginner to intermediate” We are scheduling the times in 2 hour blocks and limiting the player count to 16 for each session open Saturday and Sunday afternoons. You must sign up on the Teamreach mobile application for each event. Scheduled times are posted on Teamreach Thursday evenings for the coming weekend. Teamreach.com You can request an invite to the group by emailing the volunteer coordinator, Paul Stuart at paul.a.stuartme@gmail.com. Play will be indoors until it is warm enough to play outside in May. Outdoor courts in Yarmouth are first come first serve for both tennis and pickleball. We ask that you move the PB nets off the courts after play is over, loosen the nets, and make the courts available for tennis players. Light Up Yarmouth 2024
Light Up Yarmouth, started in the darkness of a COVID winter 2020, was created to bring LIGHT to Yarmouth - what a better way to do it than through our residents, businesses, and organizations! YCS is looking for partners to decorate their homes, businesses, organizations, churches, banks, and other shops with some type of lights (colors of your choosing).For participants: Decorate your location with lights (and whatever else fancies you!) and participate as part of our "driveable event" in December.Bring LIGHT to Yarmouth by lighting your place from December 1 through December 31. Go as big or as small as you'd like - any type of lights or lighting will help Yarmouth shine.Register your address by November 22nd with YCS so we can add it to a "driveable" map by December 1.

Youth Hapkido
Hapkido is the Korean art of self-defense. Students ages 8 and up will learn the techniques and gain the skills required to advance to yellow belt through junior black belt. This curriculum builds personal safety awareness, confidence, coordination, and mental focus. This program is in its 28th year with YCS, and is taught by Master Sheryl Glidden, 7th degree Hapkido Master, tested and certified at the Jungki Hakido world headquarters in Dague City, South Korea. Open Studio: Calm Creativity
Awakening imagination and creativity in a calm, centered, co-creative atmosphere. Kids will use a wide array of materials to make projects of their choosing.New materials and techniques will be introduced to the studio each week. The kids will work independently, while the instructor visits anyone who has a question or needs some assistance. Light Up Yarmouth, started in the darkness of a COVID winter 2020, was created to bring LIGHT to Yarmouth - what a better way to do it than through our residents, businesses, and organizations! YCS is looking for partners to decorate their homes, businesses, organizations, churches, banks, and other shops with some type of lights (colors of your choosing).For participants: Decorate your location with lights (and whatever else fancies you!) and participate as part of our "driveable event" in December.Bring LIGHT to Yarmouth by lighting your place from December 1 through December 31. Go as big or as small as you'd like - any type of lights or lighting will help Yarmouth shine.Register your address by November 22nd with YCS so we can add it to a "driveable" map by December 1.

Light Up Yarmouth, started in the darkness of a COVID winter 2020, was created to bring LIGHT to Yarmouth - what a better way to do it than through our residents, businesses, and organizations! YCS is looking for partners to decorate their homes, businesses, organizations, churches, banks, and other shops with some type of lights (colors of your choosing).For participants: Decorate your location with lights (and whatever else fancies you!) and participate as part of our "driveable event" in December.Bring LIGHT to Yarmouth by lighting your place from December 1 through December 31. This class is for the active and enthusiastic dancer. Each 45 minute class will include warm up, conditioning, stretching, individual, group, and partner dancing. Awakening imagination and creativity in a calm, centered, co-creative atmosphere. Kids will use a wide array of materials to make projects of their choosing.New materials and techniques will be introduced to the studio each week. The kids will work independently, while the instructor visits anyone who has a question or needs some assistance. Collaborations and group works are encouraged here.A soundtrack of meditative, instrumental music will be played in the studio space to set the tone and atmosphere.Kids can bring projects in from home, continue work from previous sessions or start fresh each meetup. Our focus has been to create a magical world of illumination and fantasy that will be sure to bring the Winter Holiday Season to life! This is a World Class Event that you have to experience! Over the past few years, Winter Wonders has received rave reviews and extremely high ratings (over 4.9 out of 5.0) by those who have visited. Even with this high satisfaction level, we are not resting on our past success! We continue to make major improvements to this event. For the 2023 Version of Winter Wonders we have made the following improvements:
Added Almost 1 Million Lights, taking us to a total of Over 2 Million Lights.
More One-Of-A-Kind, Creative Displays designed and built by our Artisans at the farm.
Expanded Parking to make the Traffic Flow More Efficient and to create a design with a Safer Walk from the car to the trail entrance.
Improved Facilities - More Porto Potties, a Wider/More Stable Trail, and Better Signage.
A Multi-Window Concession Stand that is located inside of the trail for Easier Access and Faster Service.
We have added Non-Peak Pricing Days to help make the events more Budget Friendly.
We will have some very unique surprises for all who come. There will be some of the favorites from past years, but Over Three-Fourths will be completely new displays and exhibits that have never been seen before.The roughly one-mile trail winds through 14 acres of beautiful, enchanted hardwood forest. Most of the trail is on gentle, rolling terrain with a few minor elevation changes. It will take about an hour to see everything. You will be able to go around at your own pace. The displays and exhibits are illuminating, immersive, awesome, and some are interactive so that you can walk through them or play on them. Note: Trails are all compacted gravel so wheelchairs and/or strollers with all-terrain wheels should be able to navigate the paths.There are lots of areas to take pictures and create memories that will last a lifetime.Registration / Refund Deadline is November 22nd!

Light Up Yarmouth, started in the darkness of a COVID winter 2020, was created to bring LIGHT to Yarmouth - what a better way to do it than through our residents, businesses, and organizations! YCS is looking for partners to decorate their homes, businesses, organizations, churches, banks, and other shops with some type of lights (colors of your choosing).For participants: Decorate your location with lights (and whatever else fancies you!) and participate as part of our "driveable event" in December.Bring LIGHT to Yarmouth by lighting your place from December 1 through December 31. Go as big or as small as you'd like - any type of lights or lighting will help Yarmouth shine.Register your address by November 22nd with YCS so we can add it to a "driveable" map by December 1.

Portland Ballet: A Victorian Nutcracker
A Victorian Nutcracker is a retelling of the classic story of a young girl's Christmas Eve dream, brought on by the curious gift of a nutcracker, in which she travels to the Sugar Plum Fairy's Land of the Sweets. This version, with characters pulled directly from Portland's past, is sure to please audience members of all ages. Awakening imagination and creativity in a calm, centered, co-creative atmosphere. Kids will use a wide array of materials to make projects of their choosing.New materials and techniques will be introduced to the studio each week. Light Up Yarmouth, started in the darkness of a COVID winter 2020, was created to bring LIGHT to Yarmouth - what a better way to do it than through our residents, businesses, and organizations! YCS is looking for partners to decorate their homes, businesses, organizations, churches, banks, and other shops with some type of lights (colors of your choosing).For participants: Decorate your location with lights (and whatever else fancies you!) and participate as part of our "driveable event" in December.Bring LIGHT to Yarmouth by lighting your place from December 1 through December 31. Go as big or as small as you'd like - any type of lights or lighting will help Yarmouth shine.Register your address by November 22nd with YCS so we can add it to a "driveable" map by December 1.

Light Up Yarmouth 2024
Light Up Yarmouth, started in the darkness of a COVID winter 2020, was created to bring LIGHT to Yarmouth - what a better way to do it than through our residents, businesses, and organizations! YCS is looking for partners to decorate their homes, businesses, organizations, churches, banks, and other shops with some type of lights (colors of your choosing).For participants: Decorate your location with lights (and whatever else fancies you!) and participate as part of our "driveable event" in December.Bring LIGHT to Yarmouth by lighting your place from December 1 through December 31. Go as big or as small as you'd like - any type of lights or lighting will help Yarmouth shine.Register your address by November 22nd with YCS so we can add it to a "driveable" map by December 1.

Adult Pickleball Winter Yarmouth Pickleball is played inside on Saturdays and Sundays at the Yarmouth Elementary School gymnasium where there are two courts. Due to the popularity of this sport participants must register with YCS in order to participate in indoor pickleball. The Indoor season is divided into 2 sessions: Session 1: November 2 - February 1 Saturdays: 1 – 5 pm November 2nd – November 30th Saturdays: 3 – 7 pm December 7th – February 1st Sundays: 1 – 5 pm *First 2 hours designated as “intermediate to advanced” / second 2 hours designated as “beginner to intermediate” Session 2: February 2 - May 4 Saturdays: 3 – 7 pm February 8th – February 15th Saturdays: 1 – 5 pm February 22nd – May 3rd Sundays: 1 – 5 pm *First 2 hours designated as “intermediate to advanced” / second 2 hours designated as “beginner to intermediate” We are scheduling the times in 2 hour blocks and limiting the player count to 16 for each session open Saturday and Sunday afternoons. You must sign up on the Teamreach mobile application for each event. Scheduled times are posted on Teamreach Thursday evenings for the coming weekend. Play will be indoors until it is warm enough to play outside in May. Outdoor courts in Yarmouth are first come first serve for both tennis and pickleball.
