Inviting all persons, all bodies, all abilities- Dancing Mindfulness is a weekly opportunity to deepen your connection with yourself and with others through dance and mindfulness practice. During class, participants are invited to listen to their own bodies, and to dance, stretch, and play in the space around them. Through this process, which is enhanced by music which changes throughout the class, participants can connect with themselves on a deeper level- exploring in a fusion of movement, emotion, story, and spirit. As a mindfulness practice, Dancing Mindfulness facilitates increased self-awareness, personal empowerment, and inner transformation. Because classes and themes vary from week to week, it is not necessary that participants be present at all classes. Classes can be attended over Zoom and/or in-person as is preferred by participants.
