Gentle Yoga with Tori Norton
This Gentle Yoga class is great for all levels of yoga experience, including none at all. The poses build strength, flexibility while the breath work balances your nervous system and clears the head. Standing, seated and reclining poses are described clearly and demonstrated. Deep stretches lead to a gentle flow of poses, including balancing and simple twists.
The experienced instructor can help you alter poses safely to make them effective for you or to work around injuries or limitations. Chairs are available as props for poses.
This practice invites ease into your body and will leave you feeling clear minded and refreshed by 6pm Thursday nights.
Dress comfortably for movement (stretchy, comfortable pants, t-shirt or comfortable top).
Bring: Mat, small blanket or towel, 2 blocks, if you have them. Chairs are available to enhance, modify or support poses.
